In Luxemburg OICV speak on digital Divide and Ageism

The 23rd Annual Conference and 30th Anniversary of the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies (22-25 July, 2025, Luxembourg). In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies (ISQOLS).

At OICV, we have presented three papers on quality of life measurement in Spain. The group's intensive work contributed to the issue of the digital divide coupled with ageism, and how this new illiteracy worsens the quality of life of our seniors by making them socially vulnerable (the case of Spain). We also presented two research posters on our weighted indicator and the diverse impact of gender on the factors that determine it.

The conference was held in a "smart" city like Luxembourg, where cars are actually less common than usual thanks to free public transport.
